Coupled with the digital revolution that has made it possible to collect the tiny at scale incurring minimal costs, investment companies that have traditionally been elicited, are now racing for the bottom.

On its part, Britam has partnered with Fitnech Star up to offer a mobile savings venture giving Kenyans with as little as KES 1000 access to fund managers for a 10 percent return.
The application ‘dubbed Chums’ enables anyone with mobile money account to create financial goals as an individual or as a group and invest their money toward the goals, track progress, and earn interest.
